Brief History: Dr. Seth Thar has wandered the galaxy, his eyes always on gathering knowledge and ancient artifacts. He has become quite well known for it among certain circles, in fact. He possesses a keen insight into archaeology, but his specialty are Jedi and Sith. He managed to avoid coming to the attention of the Dark Jedi Phobos, who would have become an even more potent threat had he the historian to tap for ancient knowledge.
Dr. Thar recently spoke at Coronet University on his most recent findings, a cache of lightsabers that dated from the beginning of the Great Jedi Purge, which he had found on the planet Kashyyyk, of all places. He is preparing for his next expedition, his eyes on the ruins of the Library of Xer on Criton's Point. The New Republic had begun excavations decades ago, but ended due to a series of wars, eventually abandoning the endeavour when the Yuuzhan Vong invaded.
