It was not until years later when Lan-Dai once again met up with Crior Satim, the man responsible for modifying and upgrading Lan-Dai's S-5 Blaster, that the DH-17 would receive a worthy restoration and upgrade to suit the era. Spherica Bombs were small charges that could easily be stored within a pouch (Up to 30 per pouch), could be detonated in many different ways, with varying degrees of energy output and potency.

==Characteristics==
Spherica Bombs are highly versatile, while their main and preferred usage is as a non-lethal charge, they can be configured to employ other purposes. They can range from a more powerful, lethal charge, smoke bomb, gas bomb, or a strong light flare.

The modes of Detonation are also noteworthy, as they are determined by a small console located on the containment pouch. The pouch itself is a containment field in which all spherica bombs stored within are disarmed and does away with any risk of premature or freak explosions. All Spherica bombs are pre-armed when taken out of the pouch, and disarmed should they be placed back in.

Seeing that Jaysten had suffered physical damage, and was in need of healing, Lan-Dai took his newfound friend to Emeral, in order to have him undergo crystal radiation treatment, a treatment only found within the subterranean crystal caverns of Emeral. While he waited out the treatment process, Lan-Dai coincidentally came across the very Jedi he had spent months seeking out, Ordo Tyr. Initially, Ordo refused to contact Kabraka, let alone rejoin the Jedi Order. Lan-Dai responded that he respected his opinion, and would not attempt to take him to Kabraka by force, despite his orders to do so if need be. However, when Lan-Dai mentioned the rifts in space, and the threat of Palpatine, Ordo seemed to have a change of heart. Ordo then inexplicably dissappeared, leaving Lan-Dai alone. Not long after that, a being known as the Door appeared to Lan-Dai as he was meditating. This being, in the form of an old woman, had asked Lan-Dai to retrieve her and take her to Kabraka. When their meeting concluded, Jaysten was there to meet him, renewed, and revitalized. Jaysten had apparently received the same appearance, and thus left Emeral to retrieve the Door together...
